Over the years we have always enjoyed finding beautiful Native American artwork and passing along the stories/inspirations/traditions that we are told from various indigenous artisans and other traders, designers, anthropologists and collectors. Today there are over 50 million indigenous people throughout the Americas, and we seek to sort through the information and include ample details about the origins and ethnic design motifs of this beautiful part of our regional heritage. We try to illustrate the distinction between works that are inspired by native/ethnic styles, but not made by people with substantial tribal affiliations (such as many items for sale in our Gifts, Jewelry & Home Decor pages of this website) in contrast with works that are authentic/certified and featured here in our Native American Collection. The American West & the western hemisphere is still truely a fascinating and varied place, and we periodically feature Navajo rugs, Pueblo pottery, Zuni fetishes, Hopi jewelry, Sioux artifact replicas, Huichol beadwork, Wounaan & Embera baskets and more!
